CHASE Charity

Why does Pure Eau support CHASE?

It is very simple. They make life limited children and their families feel nurtured, supported and not alone, both during the life of the child and afterwards.

The CHASE story began in 1990 when a forward thinking, innovative and energetic group of people decided to fund raise to support a children's hospice and it's integrated services in the South East of England.

They needed to raise £1 million pounds to start the construction and put a specialist nurse into the community to start work.

Support groups worked tirelessly, raising money from anything such as coffee mornings to approaching charity boards of city banks and in 2000, CHASE opened its children’s hospice.

However, this was just the start of the extraordinary and lasting need to raise money.  Four million pounds is now needed to run this service which in the past 10 years has supported over 700 families. Annually, the CHASE care team who support families both in their own homes and at its children’s hospice touch the lives of over 1000 family members. The hospice continues to bring happiness, love and support to all the families supported by CHASE.  CHASE receives very limited funding from the government and has to raise most of its funds every year through general charitable donation to ensure the service continues.

Those of us who are fortunate enough to enjoy good health are lucky but many others are dependent on the extraordinary services CHASE offer. So please take a look at their website at www.chasecare.org.uk to find out more.
