Pure Eau, the science and religious beliefs behind

Pure Eau understands the science and the religious beliefs behind water
It often feels slightly strange to describe water as H2O don’t you think? H2O is the second most common molecule in the Universe (behind hydrogen, H2). It is the most abundant solid material and fundamental to star formation. Life cannot evolve or continue without liquid water. Science Educators often refer to water as “the simplest compound of the two most common reactive elements, consisting of just two hydrogen atoms attached to a single oxygen atom”  (www.lsbu.ac.uk). Very few molecules are smaller or lighter. Water is the most studied material on Earth, yet the behaviour and function of water is often misunderstood. Liquid waters unique properties and chameleonic nature appears to fit into the requirements of life as no other molecule can.  We at Pure Eau understand how precious pure water truly is – Our water coolers, water filters process water through Reverse Osmosis to ensure you drink fresh pure water and nothing more.
Pure water is essential for optimum health. It is the elixir of life and our bodies are mostly made up of it. We can survive weeks without food, but only 5 days without water. We drink it, fish in it, swim in it, cook with it – the list is endless. Liquid water has the importance of a solvent, a solute, a reactant and bimolecular, structuring proteins. It can give life and take it away at the same time. An example of this is the latest Tsunami in Japan. Ironic how life, and livelihoods can be wiped out so easily by the sheer volume and ferocity of water, yet it is essential for survival?  Whilst water supplies are now in short demand in Japan, we are still fortunate in the UK to have access to unlimited amounts of pure drinking water through our water coolers and water filters.
Water also has a central place in the practices and beliefs of many religions for two main reasons. Firstly water cleanses. Water washes away impurities and pollutants, it can make an object look as good as new and wipe away any signs of previous defilement.  Water not only purifies objects for ritual use, but can make a person clean, externally or spiritually, ready to come into the presence of his/her focus of worship.  Secondly, water is a primary building block of life.  Without water there is no life, yet water has the power to destroy as well as to create.  The significance of water manifests itself differently in different religions and beliefs but it is these two qualities of water that underlie its place in our cultures and faiths. Whatever your water requirements, Pure Eau has a water solution to provide enough pure water to homes and offices within the UK.
