Pure Eau water coolers filter out the lead

Lead in water is a major health issue according to the World Health Organisation (www.who.int) Lead is a metal with no known biological benefits to humans. Too much lead can damage various systems of the body including the nervous and reproductive systems and the kidneys, and it can cause high blood pressure and anaemia. Pregnant women are at risk of lead poisoning, as lead is especially harmful to the developing brains of fetuses. In young children, it may cause learning disabilites and behavioural problems and at very high levels can cause convulsions, coma and death. Here at Pure Eau we take water purification very seriously. All our water coolers and water filters use a process called ‘Reverse Osmosis’ which removes all the contaminants including lead, leaving you with fresh, pure drinking water.
People are exposed to lead through the air they breathe, through water and through food/ingestion. Although exposure to lead through water is generally low in comparison to exposure through air or food, lead can still be found in tap water even if the lead concentration is fairly low. This is usually because the lead piping carrying the water is old and contaminated. However, to replace old piping is costly and lead continues to dissolve even from old pipes. The amount of lead that may dissolve in water depends on acidity (pH), temperature, water hardness and standing time of the water. Secondary pollution from industry can contaminate water through the effluents produced. Other sources include use of lead-containing ceramics for cooking, eating or drinking. People may be exposed to lead after eating food from cans that contain lead solder in the seams of the can. Pure Eau knows the importance of access to clean, pure water. Our water coolers and water filters ensure you have access to drinking as much pure water as you like.
Shouldn’t clean, pure, drinking water be a basic human right? Pure Eau can filter all the water you need using reverse osmosis membranes to ensure through our water coolers and water filters you are provided with as much drinking water as you can drink to ensure optimum health.
